New Classes listed for 2009!
Please check out our class list calendar for the 2009 classes that have been added. We have classes for the beginner, intermediate or advanced stitcher.
We have brought back the multi square class for the beginner as well as adding a multi-square tote class for the intermediate stitcher.
Ruth Dilts will be teaching both a Valentine House class and a Kimono class for the first time since being taught at the TNNA market.
We will also have a Rainbow Gallery Fiber Notebook class in March which will use the entire Rainbow Gallery thread line using 70 different stitches. This will make an excellent reference notebook when deciding what stitch or thread to use on your next canvas.

Back by Popular Demand
New Beginner's class starting November 1st!
We had such a great response to our last beginner's class that we've decided to try and squeeze in another before the hectic Holidays.
This will be for the beginner stitcher. You will learn the continental, basketweave, nobuko and smyrna cross stitches to complete an insert for a starfish pillow. All materials and instruction will be included as well as a pre-finished pillow. All you need to bring are your stitching scissors. Please come into the shop if you want to see the finished product.
The class will be held Saturdays November 1st and 8th from 10am to 1pm and be taught by Ruth Dilts at Waste Knot Needlepoint.
The cost of the class is $120.00. Class size is limited so please sign up early!

I'm just back from St. Charles Missouri from my first cash and carry show. There was a great showing of some of my favorite designers with absolutely wonderful canvases. I can't wait for you all to see them!
Since I more than spent my budget, I'd like to go ahead and have a sale on all the canvases I purchased at Market. All Market canvases will be marked down 20% from Thursday, 9/18 through Saturday 9/20/08. Hope to see you at the shop!

Check out our class calendar for upcoming classes this fall. We have classes for the beginner as well as the intermediate to advanced stitcher.
Our beginner's class is a 3 week class starting in September on Saturday mornings and will be taught by Ruth Dilts, author of Needlepoint 101 and Needlepoint 202. We will be stitching the below mutli square painted canvas. You will learn to stitch the continental and basketweave stitches as well as 8 additonal stitches and work with various fibers.
Ruth Dilts will also be teaching a Halloween House class for the intermediate to advanced stitcher scheduled for 2 Saturday mornings in October. Our Mile High Princess Witch Class will be taught by Susan Goldberg and is set for 2 Wednesday mornings in October.

Please join us for our Mile High Princess Witch class on Wednesday October 8th and October 22nd from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the store. This class is for intermediate to advanced stitchers and the cost is $295 for all materials and instruction. Susan Goldberg will be teaching the class.
 
Space will be limited so please sign up early. A $140 deposit will be required to hold your spot and full payment will be required by September 5th.
