I really hate to do this but side roads still do not look good and with the next storm approaching, I have decided to close on Tuesday and will most likely be closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
I will reassess as the days approach. If I do decide to open before Thursday, I will post another notice. As of now, I am hoping there are not too many needlepoint emergencies out there and am shooting to open again on Friday. Cross your fingers! As always with inclement weather, please do call the shop to verify we are open and also not closing early.
Whoever is doing the snow dances, I think we've had enough and it is time to stop;)

Due to what looks to be not so good road conditions, Waste Knot Needlepoint will be closed on Monday, February 8th.
We hope to open on Tuesday but it is very likely we will be closing early a few days this week due to the possible freezing of roadways at night. Please call if you are making a special trip out our way to make sure we are open.
I hope everyone has enough stitching to keep them busy until Tuesday! See you soon!

Since we had such a great response to our beginner's sampler class, we have opened up a new session. The dates are Saturdays, 4/10, 4/17 and 4/24/10 from 10am until 1pm. Classes will be held at the shop and taught by Ruth Dilts. The cost will be $125.00. Please call and sign up early as space is limited.

Our trunk show has arrived. If you have not had a chance to drop by the shop to see the CanvasWorks trunk show, please put it on your calendar. She has some beautifully stitch painted canvases. Many are patterned off of persian rug designs. Please drop by soon as the trunk show will go back on 1/27/10.
I have also just gotten back from the Needlework Market in Long Beach. It was nice to be in warm weather but even nicer to look at and buy all the new products. There were a bunch of new canvases, threads and books. Julia Snyder and June McKnight both came out with new books. ThreadWorx has come out with an overdyed Vineyard Silk. New threads from Rainbow Gallery should arrive shortly along with a new rack. Yes, we are expanding again. We will also be getting some Merino silk and Merino wool from And More as well as some Baby Alpaca.
Canvases should probably start arriving next week and will continue to arrive through April or May. I bought a bunch so please drop by often to see what is new!

We will be open 10am to 5pm both 12/22 and 12/23. We will be closing a little earlier than normal due to possible icing problems.
